pitting < 2 months, warranty not honored
I used the frying pan a few times a week for less than two months and it already developed pitting in a dozen spots even though I maintain it meticulously. All-clad refuses to honor the lifetime warranty. Not worth the money.

I received my All Clad 5 piece set today. I have wanted some good quality stainless steel pans for a long time.I have to say that I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! these pans.I made my first steak with bourbon and pepper corn and it was amazing, the crust on the steak was right restaurant quality and so was the sauce.I am also very very happy that I got the pans for56% off!!!They had a couple of tiny scratches but nothing they aren’t going to get from using them often.I would take advantage of a deal like that anytime!!Super happy

Buyer Beware! Not dishwasher safe - All Clad just lost a class action lawsuit about this!
We were notified by Amazon earlier this year that All Clad lost a class action lawsuit for advertising that these pans are dishwasher safe when they are not! They develop "sharp edges" due to acid in dish washing soap dissolving the aluminum layer. I am shocked to see that Amazon is still advertising these as dishwasher safe!

This small set is a great starter set in my opinion
I'm no expert. My husband with 25 years in the restaurant biz said please don't get stainless cookware! I got it anyway! This small set is a great starter set in my opinion. I researched proper heating of cooking oils and proper cooking temps. I have had no issues with this cookware whatsoever! I have been able to accomplish some fantastic recipes that I normally would not attempt. I'm very happy with it and it has inspired me to be more epicurious!
