Description

When it comes to making sauce, gravy, or other liquidy foods, the saucepan is your go-to. Its high, straight sides lend itself well for frequent stirring or whisking that comes with making sauces, limiting spillage. The smaller surface area retains heat well and limits evaporation. As part of our HA1 Nonstick collection this Saucepan is constructed of heavy gauge aluminum and its interior is engineered with 3 layers of our high performing, nonstick coating. This coating keeps food molecules from clinging to the surface, so it’s ideal for delicate or sticky foods. Its exterior features an anti-warp induction compatible base that makes it compatible with induction cooktops and bumps up durability. At 3.5 quarts, it’s a good size for a mac & cheese dinner with the family. All in all, it offers professional performance and durability combined with easy food release that’s easy to clean for a convenient cooking experience. At the end of the meal, simply give it a quick hand washing and it’s ready for the next one.

Great pan

I am impressed with how quickly and evenly this pan heats. I bought it to replace a Calphalon pan that was past it’s prime. So far, I’m very happy and have become an All Clad fan.

Great all-around pan

I used this pan for many things and gave it away to a friend who was starting his journey into cooking. Within days, I regretted giving mine away and bought a replacement. It's a great all-around pan and you will find yourself using it as your go-to pan for all kinds of dishes. Highly recommend.

Love em

I've bought several different fry pans and Sause pans.Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't buy the less expensive cookware out there.I love the All-Clad (HA1) Hard Anodized Nonstick cookware. It's so easy to clean, you'll love the quality, the way their made with 2 handle's on almost everything.

Easiest cleanup on a pan I've ever had!

On first use: I felt the handle was awkwardly shaped, yes. But when I went to wash dishes; I was amazed. I turned it over to dump the leftover food in it, and it ALL slid out. I sprayed water in it and you would never know it had just been used at all. I've used it for a while now and although I use soap and water to clean it, I could almost just rinse it and put it up!

We love this line of pans!

They do what the description says they do. Non-stick, even heating. The pieces we purchased 4 years ago look as good today as they did out of the box. Proper usage, care and storage is key to longevity.

Handle is too long to balance it with one hand

Impossible to lift pan with one hand without the pan rotating - it becomes unbalanced. Yes, there is a short assist handle on the side of the pan opposite the long handle but using that to steady the pan leaves no hand free to deal with the lid. The lid could easily dislodge releasing steam. Turning the cooked contents into a bowl or strainer is awkward. What I do like is the shape of the pan itself, the quick release finish for ease of cleaning and the capacity(3.5 qts.) which is an excellent mid size between the 1 and 2 qt.s and a soup kettle. Some engineering on the length if the handle vs. twisting balance would be helpful.
