Great Pan
I love these pans and will probably never stray from the All Clad brand. They are amazing.

Fantastic sauce pan
I like using this overall design because the heating of whatever you are preparing is more uniform as opposed to a standard pot that is a little smaller and taller. Great quality and great weight. Very easy cleanup, too.

Great saucepan, great value!
My generic $15 non-stick pan needed replacing so I decided to get a pricier All Clad. So far so good...my omelets slide right off and is a breeze to clean. The flat handle makes it easier to grip which is important because it is a tad heavy. I bought it 'almost new' from Amazon Warehouse, but it might as well be brand new as it was never used and I saved myself $20!

Beautifully made, a few issues keep it from being a 5
The second most important piece of cookware for me is a 3-4 qt nonstick saute pan. I bought this one for use on an induction cooktop . It's well constructed, works find with induction, and the nonstick is excellent. But there are a couple of issues. One, the bottom is not entirely flat, it's crowned a bit. Second, for some bizarre reason the sides aren't straight - they curve outward a bit toward the bottom. Third, but most important, is the handle is poorly designed. Considering the weight of the pan, it's uncomfortable for using it to flip things over as you would with a frying pan.

Expensive but clearly high quality
I bought this as a gift for my partner, who used the old saute pan so much that it wore out.Pros:The quality is evident. It's very well built and sturdy. It cooks evenly and is surprisingly easy to clean. The non-stick surface is so slick that most food residue washes away with just hot water, no soap and no scrubbing. Anything that doesn't is easily removed with a sponge (no abrasive needed).Cons:The metal handles on the pan (and especially its lid) can get hot. I bought some silicone grips which work fine, but our old pan had silicone on the handles. Maybe it's less premium, but definitely more practical. And obviously the price is quite high.

Adore/Love This Pot
Did not want to love this line of All-Clad, read every review I could find, was aware of the pro's and con's, however given the All-Clad name, it became evident to me that this would have to be my choice in a new set of cookware. I have had my current non-stick cookware over 10 years, the big saute pan is just getting to a point where is not releasing at clean up as well as it should. The rest of the set is just fine, but I am a little OCD and want everything to matching, not to mention that the neighbor's 18 year old is moving out and needs stuff for his apartment. The old cookware set will be donated, anything to get his poorly parked car off our street (LOL).So, with that explained, I tentatively purchased the HA-1 4 quart Saute Pan, first, hoping for the best. It is a heavy beast, sturdy, thick, heats up a little slower than my old set (it is thicker than the old set, I am using a glass top range), holds the heat excellently, heats very evenly, does not require high settings, does just fine at lower temperature settings on the burners (most likely due to the fact that it holds heat better than the old set, and the heat is more evenly distributed), cleans up/releases perfectly, using all silicon utensils, washing by hand with a non-scratch scrubby (no dishwasher for any of my pots/pans ever), no scratches, no separation of the bottom of the pot/pan from the overall pot/pan, I totally fell in love with this All-Clad line HA-1 line of Non-Stick PFOA Free Pots & Pans. I will be purchasing every one I can for a complete set! I have waited and used the HA-1 pots/pans now for over 6 months before reviewing and order more of the HA-1 line. Wanted some time, washing and cooking under it's belt before investing more into the HA-1 line and reviewing.I am now the proud owner of their 12" HA-1 Non-Stick Frying Pan, 2.5 HA-1 Quart Non-Stick Sauce Pan & just ordered the 8 & 10" HA-1 Non-Stick Combo of Frying Pans. I did not want to love these pots/pans, I do love these pots/pans, and expect that they will give me the same 10+ years that I got from the previous set, perhaps more.I will say the handle is brutal, hurts like heck to pick it up when it is full, any of these pots and pans when heavy with contents, given the handle will hurt your hand. But the handle does accommodate a spoon/utensil resting on it with the bowl/utensil side of the spoon/utensil pointed into the pot/pan, I suspect that is the reason the handle is shaped the way it is.I SOLVED the handle problem with this item Crucible Silicon Handle cover (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KDYM9C2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They fit these handles to a tee, resolve the "biting into your palm issue" when lifting the pot/pan, give one more dexterity with the pot/pan when lifted. No more handle issues, done, gone, finito. However, not for use in the oven, only on the stove top, for that matter you are going to use a fairly thick potholder if you are pulling out of the oven. I have a silicon lid opener that I use for the opposing handle on the larger pots/pans, works just fine to protect your hand from the heat. The Crucible Silicon Handle cover also is wide enough to continue to support and accommodate the spoons/utensils as well, works like a charm on these pots/pans, reasonably priced as well.
These pots are truly non-stick and high quality!
I bought these after trying many many other pots. These are thick and weighty. The good points are they heat evenly, have not warped after repeated use and the teflon is great. Dont be fearful of teflon. I have used pots with it for many years , still here.Proper use: Do not just put heat on full blast with nothing in them such as an oil or butter or product to cook. Do not heat in an oven with NOTHING in it. The testing where they found teflon was becoming gaseous (dangerous) is at 500 degrees. If you have something it them, you have no worries, because nothing you will cook will become that hot, unless you burned it to the crisp.Proper cleaning: Use dishsoap and a sponge or blue pad scrubber (one that is easier on teflon). Do not scrub just lightly rub. Everthing will come out and leave the teflon coating. Nothing last forever, so do not expect these to last 30 years.
