Fabulous roaster pan
Get rid of that aluminum and go back to stainless. I have always loved stainless and fell for the marketing of non-stick cookware. Well, no more. I see professional kitchens using stainless and I know the value of cooking correctlu on stainless. So out with the aluminum and in with stainless. All-clad is a well-known and respected brand so the quality is spot on here. This is a really nice size roaster, well fitting lid and rack, and heavy duty. A very good buy.

It really fits!!
I needed to retire my mother's 84 year old turkey pot this year. It made me sad to do so but it was time. I did a lot of research and comparisons and after many sleepless nights finally decided on this one. The only problem was, would it really fit a 20 pound turkey? Well let me just say it not only fit but I'm sure a 21 pound bird would fit nicely as well! Not only did the turkey fit but when it was time and I took it out, it had baked so well that the turkey was very tender, moist and flavorful! The quality of this pot is outstanding, with very secure handles and a nice thick base and well arched lid. There's a rack as well which is very sturdy and hefted our large bird with no problem. The pan is machine washable but I easily cleaned it by hand as there was no room for it in the dishwasher. I did however wash the rack in the machine and it came out like new! I am very happy with this pan and can't wait to make other tasty dishes with it.If you are looking for a good quality pan, this is it! I believe this was money well spent and I am looking forward to many, many holiday birds baked in this beautiful, easy to clean pan.

The turkey browned really well!
I usually do not write reviews, but I was really impressed with how well it browned the outside skin. I planned to cook a 20 pound stuffed bird for five hours at 375, but when I opened the lid up in four hours it was beautiful, almost perfect. I have always had to remove covers to brown the skin, but not this time. I really was not expecting the skin to look so nice. I'm sure I had a smile on my face when I saw it. It was also very moist. Another thing I noticed was the quality and sturdiness without being too heavy to handle. It keep the meat very warm for a good amount of time after cooking. It looks impressive sitting on the counter too.

Smaller than advertised but still large enough
To clarify for anyone else that had questions about size after reading some of the reviews. They are calling it 19” by including the handles in the measurement. The box clearly states 15” and that’s accurate as well for the pan capacity. That said, I was able to easily fit a 17lbs turkey inside it and based on zero evidence other than my own estimate, I believe a 20lbs turkey would also fit although it would likely be snug.Other than that it’s a beautiful roaster worthy of the All-Clad name.

Great roaster. No downside to disk bottom.
This works great as a roasting pan. I will say that it was overpriced at original list. But I don't see any downside to just having a clad bottom, instead of having the sides clad. The reason for the clad sides, as in a saucepan, is to have more even heat up the sides of the pan. That's it. It shouldn't be a status or marketing thing. To me, a roasting pan is just used for roasting and making pan sauces, and you don't have liquids up the sides of the pan for that process. You don't really need it for braising, either. Having the extra weight in the sides would just make the pan heavier, and even slow down the time it takes the interior to get up to temperature a bit. What is great about this is that it's covered. Most high end roasting pans don't have lids, which in my view is just silly. You end up making little aluminum foil lids for them, for part of some roasts, just because the really expensive pan didn't come with one. This also lets you braise, which is really handy, and which you can't do in an open roasting pan.One downside is that the little flat rack is a little awkward for some things. But that's a design trade off for having a lid that works, the sides not being any higher than they already are, and a size to easily fit in all ovens. So my alternative to this, and second best suggestion would be graniteware, at about 1/10th the cost. Enameled steel roasts great, you just have to be very careful making pan sauces without burning, or transfer to another pan to thicken, and they're slightly harder to clean.
Love it
Bought this for my turkey and love it! Very sturdy, easy to clean, great all around.
