NOT magnetic, NOT induction compatible
To be clear: a magnet does not stick to the bottom of these pans. I saw the other reviews saying no induction (in spite of product description saying yes), but I was hoping it was the pans being too small to be recognized. It's not that--they simply won't work with induction because they fail the magnet test. Super sad, because these pans are gorgeous, and just what I was looking for. Two in the box, which wasn't necessarily clear from the description.

As you would expect from All-Clad. Great for single servings of sides like mac and cheese, potato dishes (Pommes Anna,) vegetables, etc.Best for those things that need oven time.Be alert to the small size of these gratins before you order.

The perfect little pan.
This is the perfect LITTLE pan, I use it everyday. One egg, although I have done two, one patty, one piece of fish. I have a full set of All-Clad pans that I’m more than happy with and that goes for this little one too.

Great for individual gratins
I did not buy the ones with lids as I don't expect to use them that way. I bought these to do individual gratins to be served on a dinner plate. I've seen these for $14.99 at Home Goods, TJ Max, etc. Buy online and don't pay tax. Great for a single person that just wants to make small servings. Can't go wrong with All-Clad!

Great product but small
Great quality but smaller than I expected
Did not work on induction
The bottoms of both pans were concave and thus did not make contact with the induction burner. The center of both pans never got hot. Try cooking an egg when the middle of a 6” pan does not heat!
