Makes an awesome waffle
This is a very expensive waffle maker but I love a good waffle and I was willing to spend more to be able to make them at home. This is very well made and it truly makes an amazing waffle. You are able to adjust the temperature to suit how well done you want your waffle. I like that you can take the plates out for easy cleaning. It weighs a ton but that’s okay because it’s made heavy duty. The waffles come out thick and delicious.

Oh boy, are these waffles great. #3 setting is crispy golden brown. The kids like them a little softer from #2. So easy keep clean while waffling and even easier to toss into the dishwasher. No more wasting time cleaning the whole machine because of ooze. The downside, my wife now wants waffles every morning.BTW, it's a great way to make grilled cheese sandwiches too. Just slap the cheese between two slices and pop it in. Wow, there are so many alternative meals you can make in this machine which I wouldn't dare try in my old waffle iron.

I have used this waffle maker a few times now and it really does a great job. I was a little hesitant to spend so much on one but I wanted something that would last, make Belgian waffles and do 4 at a time. As a family with young kids, I needed a beast and this thing is it. My kids LOVE the waffles (I use sourdough ) and I am happy I don't have to spend hours making a bunch. The temperature gage is easy and after one round of waffles, I found the correct setting. The waffle maker is heavy, so it's not something that should probably be continuously picked up and moved around. The cast iron plates do move around and it seems not very sturdy but it is. I love how I can take them out (although I haven't needed to yet) and I like how it has a little over flow tray in the back. My only real complaint is that when I use some cooking spray on the top, it does end up dripping all over the counter at the back of the waffle maker. So, if you are after good Belgian waffles and have a family, get this. You won't regret it!

I expect quality from All Clad and this did not disappoint. It’s kinda heavy but not too much for this 64 yr old, 5’5” woman to handle. Mine seems to run hot; haven’t gone over the heat setting of 2 or 3 for any kind of waffles yet. Have made waffles without any spray coating and with coating, and it works well either way, even when I have added fruit to the batter. I use ‘hot dog tongs’ to remove the waffles when done. Be careful never to touch anything on the waffle maker except the handles when it’s heating or hot cuz almost everywhere on the unit gets really hot and WILL burn you (or the little fingers of impatient and hungry toddlers.) I love the removable plates; makes clean up a breeze. It has a little catch bin to place at the back for excess batter, but in 2+ months of regular use, I haven’t had any spillover yet. I make a big batch each time and put the extra in ziplock bags in the freezer; then pop them in the toaster when ready to use. I’m looking forward to experimenting with this; lots of ideas on YouTube….despite what it will do to my waistline!

This is the best waffle maker I have ever used. Waffles are a Sunday morning staple at our house. I have used many, many waffle makers over the years and I have been disappointed with every one them mostly because its hard to make decent waffles with them. My new All-Clad Waffle Maker, in contrast, is excellent in every way. Foremost of its features is that it makes perfect waffles each and every time. I tried it with yeast-based batter, out-of-the-box leavened batters and also batters with sweet or savory additions. Each and every waffle was perfect including the very first one I made with it. It's very easy to use. The waffles come out in 4 large sections so you quickly get them on the table for family and friends. The overflow catcher really works. Worth the money - will change your waffle experience
I love waffles. Our old trusty waffle maker of 20+ years gave out and left us with cravings for waffle goodness. After weeks of research we were left with a huge choice of going with a very basic, low cost waffle maker with "acceptable" reviews or take the leap and investment for this unit. I could not be happier with our choice to buy the All Clad waffle maker. It truly has exceeded our expectations in taste (even with our same recipe), crispness, tenderness on the inside, and ease of use. We went with the non-digital model with removable plates. Great choice!

Absolutely loved this product....consistency with waffles was great....regularly used and cleaned it....however, plates are now rusty and it's not even a year old yet...unacceptable for this product at this price point...contacted AlL-Clad through their website last week and they have yet to acknowledge or respond...again, at this price point, unacceptable and disappointing ... Amazon web link to product support not functioning either....
Thermostat was broken
This unit was defective from the jump. I should have turned it on right away but because it was All Clad, I thought for sure there wouldn't be a problem.Because I waited too long - I can't return it. Be careful, All Clad isn't as reliable as we thought.
