Heavy bottom so it has not warped

Excellent size for a family. My husband tends to cook on high heat all the time. So we end up with a lot of warped pans. This pen has a nice heavy bottom and has not warped.It has been a pleasure to cook in.

Great for veggies

So this is my $100 broccoli steamer. But, it's great for steaming our large batches, and it steams them evenly! Worth the money for making my life easier. Also I think it's going to be my new rice pot since it's non-stick. The sides does not leak on mine, as someone had mentioned, I'm guessing they over filled the water. The steamer handles do NOT get hot. Oddly the pot handles do however not terribly as I was able to shove the pot over to another burner with my hand, but I would use a pot holder next time. I'm so happy I wish I found this a long time ago. I'm so glad my old cheap steamer broke.

Not Induction Stove Friendly

While this pot resembles the rest of the All-Clad H1 Hard Annodized non-stick cooking line, it does not have the same metal plate on the bottom of the pan that the rest of the line has. Apparently they do not make a version of this pot for that line. We purchased thinking it was part of that line. It is not and therefore does not work at all on an induction stove top.
