Great Price for a All-Clad set.
I needed to replace an old set of fry pans from 17 years ago. Please use only wooden spoons as to not scrape the coating.

Nonstick pans
I bought these to replace my old ones. Decided to go with the stainless steel and I’m happy I did. They are great for eggs! Si far so good!

It is everything it claims to be.
I raise chickens for eggs on our homestead and I was looking for the ultimate pan for cooking eggs and I found it. I drop a bit of butter in it and as soon as it melts I crack my eggs into it. ZERO stick no matter how cool the pan might still be. I can pick it up, give it a giggle and the eggs slide right around. It heats rapidly and evenly. It's flat bottom, inside and out, has remained flat so there is zero wobble on the glass top stove and eggs stay where they are put. The eggs brown nicely which may partially be to the butter. I literally can have a two eggs over easy/medium sandwich in just a couple of minutes. I am using, exclusively, a silicone spatula in it just because I want to do everything I can to keep it in good shape. I am extremely satisfied with these pans.

Induction Range Fry Pan
So you spent the money to buy an induction range, now you're in search of matching cookware and stumbled on this review. Well you found them ... heavy duty stainless steel non-stick "American Made" fry pans. Trust your good senses, skip the rest of the reviews, purchase them and move on.One bit of advice ... never overheat a teflon pan. (This is the root cause of 99% of all the coatings failures)While All Clad non-stick fry pans can take a bit more punishment, they too will fail if overheated which voids the warranty. Treated correctly they easily last 5 years. If you're new to induction, train yourself to never heat an empty pan higher than mid-dial. Remember a top quality induction range can boil a gallon of water in less then 3 minutes. Imagine what that can do to these expensive teflon pans! Set the the dial to max for 5 minutes with nothing in them and you just ruined them. Ouch!Perhaps some of you have already been on the 'road to ruin' with foreign made aluminum fly pans. You know the so-called induction ready ones with bonded iron bottoms. Ready to Warp ... is what they should read! Eventually they no longer make good contact with the glass surface and one become's a master at fiddling with the dial on max just to get them to start heating. If this was your indoctrination to induction ranges may I suggest the Mr. Right Tri-Ply Bonded Stainless Steel Skillet Pans till you get your bearings straight. These pans are also a good option for kids and part time husband chefs. Keep your non-stick All Clad's under lock & key.If you're still with me I suggest you stick with All Clad D3's, they are lighter weight, remain perfectly flat, and heat faster than the D5's. I had to send a D5 back because it developed a slight wobble, never happened with my D3's. Your milage may vary.To re-cap on Induction Ranges you are looking for high quality full stainless steels pans that remain perfectly flat. Non-stick choices are extremely limited here in the USA, Tribute line from Vollrath, and American Kitchen come to mind, however these pans are heavier and more industrial looking then All-Clad. Le Creuset has a nice non-stick stainless pan but they are made in China, their cast iron pans are unmatched and every serious chef should own their Dutch Ovens. Happy Hunting!

Great pans
All-Clad makes great pans; performance, quality, durability, comfort, and appearance. And these non-stick pans are another example. I've had the same pan (10") for over 20 years. It was still in good shape, although the surface showed scrapes (no real scratches) and while still non-stick, it of course wasn't quite as good as it was when new. I didn't use it every day, didn't super-heat it, and used nylon utensils. Since non-sticks should be replaced about every 5 years or so, I figure I got my money out of it. The new pan is almost exactly the same, albeit it seems a bit lighter. It already has a light scrape, but even with plastic tools, that's hard to avoid and it doesn't affect the performance much if at all. So far, no peeling whatsoever and if it's like my old pan, there won't be any. These are pricey, but they're gorgeous and wonderfully designed and manufactured.

Poor quality with bogus Lifetime Warranty. Lasts 2 years max. Do not buy!
I decided to finally graduate to nicer quality kitchen goods instead of replacing cheaper products frequently and so I bought these expensive All-Clad pans with the plan to use it long-term. A big seller was the lifetime warranty leading me to believe All-Clad backed their products. In a little over 2 years of light use, the 10-inch pan began to flake as pictured. I submitted the claim to All-Clad and they immediately declined it stating (quote from email) "Most instances when the non-stick coating has lost its' non-stick properties, it is due to overheating of the pan. Cookware with non-stick coatings should be used on low to medium heat settings. Due to the superior quality of All-Clad cookware the cookware will heat up quicker and retain the heat."They claim to have high quality and advertise the versatility of their pans but will then claim you can only use it on low to medium heat or it'll void your warranty after the fact. I've never placed the pan in the oven or abused it. Never put it in the dish washer. Only ever used rubber or plastic utensils and cleaned it thoroughly quickly after use and only use it to make eggs in the morning and the occasional sauce for pasta. I've gotten more life out of throw-away Ikea pans of dubious quality than I have this supposed high-end product.I will never buy All-Clad again, and neither should you. Save your money and buy a product of actual quality from a reputable company.
