Good investment, even for heavy use
I use this pan for everything. Even shallow frying.This is my second one and only because someone left it over high heat and forgot it was still on the stove, thus ruining it.I had my previous one for about 3+ years and before that incident it was only beginning to show some wear.This new one has held up well so far. Only a few minor scratches and given it is used more than once a day, every day (no exaggeration), by multiple people, I think a few minor scratches from a metal spatula is really no big deal.Pricey, but a great pan for heavy use. I’d definitely recommend.

I wanted a quality pan
I recently decided to get back into making omelets and scrambled eggs and maybe sauteing so I needed a stick free pan. This is perfect as nothing sticks, it's well made and works well on our smooth glass top range. I searched many offering on Amazon before settling on this brand after reading many other reviews. This pan did not come with a lid but after reading some of the disasters others have had with glass lids I decided that wasn't a deal breaker. I use a glass lid we already had at home. So far so good. One unknown but which I hope is OK, is whether any of the non-stick covering on the pan ever gets into our food. Nothing visible of course....just wondering.

ALL CLAD ! THE BEST! WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO SAY? Well packaged and prompt delivery. I like the NEW non-stick finish. Been using All Clad pans for more than 30 years and they still look brand new! So well made that they have a life-time warranty...but what really counts is that they make cooking so much easier.. the various layers of metal used in the construction of these hand-crafted pans assure even cooking and no "hot spots." This particular pan is the French Frying Pan...the sides are higher than with a regular frying pan...I like to use it for preparing my breakfast's "egg over easy" because most splattering is kept within the pan. Worth every penny.....I finally decided to take the plunge and go with a top quality pan to use for breakfast or omelette, eggs, scrambled, ext. I wish I would have not been to worried about spending this kinda money as it’s hands down the best pan I’ve ever used for cooking breakfast to date. I have a glass GE Profile cooktop and my burners heat this pan up in no time. Once the food has been placed in the pan it cooks evenly and quickly. The best non-stick surface I’ve ever used. The food 🥘 slides out with ease. The cleanup is so easy also. I will be saving for additional All Clad cook wear in the future. I guess the old saying of you get what you pay for is still true.

Bought this specifically for omeletsWas very excited to get it and try it outMade omelets for breakfast this morning, was not happy at allI have had $20 pans work better than this $100 panEggs stuck to it like you would not believe, even scrambled eggs stuck to this thingI mean, it is advertised as non stick, it was anything but non stickI am not a first timer making omelets, have made many over the yearsI will say clean up was fairly easy, but I did not buy it for ease of cleaningYou would think a pan, a single pan, that costs this much would be great, nope, it's junkWill be returning this POS, I will make sure I steer clear of any pan made by this company
