I'm a single guys that does things simply. If I can make an item multi task then all the better! Well you can't really make a pot fry an egg or some bacon. My old (very old) 8" was s about to give up the ghost and these happened to come across my searches. I recognized the Brand immediately as they have a very sold reputation so I got them. Once they arrived (and I buried my old skillet) I can honestly say I can't be happier! The set comes with an 8 inch and a 10 inch pan. The ceramic coating rally seems to hold up well and no scratches yet with me sticking a fork in to prod my food as I do quite often (thou of course don't recommend) and my fried over well eggs slide right out- no stick. Each pan has good weight and can be used in the oven as well up to 450 degrees. Have not yet tested this but I do see I will need a mitt, as the handles are metal alloy of some type (aluminum I am sure) Another neat thing that I didn't think of when ordering them (as I am sure most don't) was I found the ceramic coating is made without PFAS. I'm an adult and probably have a plastic fork worth of PFAS already in my body but it's reassuring these won't add more. PRO TIP: Be sure that before you throw away the packing to scan the QR code to activate your warranty as I almost forgot to lol. Anyway 5 nonstick stars!!

Lightweight pans, nonstick is excellent but pans are a little shallow
Nonstick works incredibly well. It's comparable to my much more expensive non-stick pan was when new. That pan started sticking after about a year though as it typical of most nonstick coatings. That's why I think I actually prefer something like this which more than half as much money for the two pack than I paid for the single more expensive pan. Hard to say how long they'll hold up as in my experience even the best pans wear out fairly quickly. Having paid double for a nonstick pan that started sticking after a year I won't do that again and if these hold up a even a year I'll buy them again.First cooking experience was great. I was cooking up some fried rice, I cracked an egg on the top of the rice which typically sits there and cooks on top. With these pans the nonstick works so well the weight of the egg slowly pushed the rice aside like the parting of the red sea and the egg slid down to touch the pan. It was pretty neat although I did kind of want the egg on top of the rice.These pans are super lightweight, almost too light. If I'm not holding the handle they move around when I'm stirring. My other nonstick of the same size are heavier and don't move when stirring one handed. On the other hand the light weight pans make it easier to flip instead of stirring which with the nonstick works well. The depth of the pan is a little bit shallow, hasn't really been a problem but coming from another similar sized pan it noticeable.Overall I'm pretty happy with these pans. They're functionally comparable to a high end nonstick pan I paid nearly twice for and that was only a single 10" pan. You get both the 10" and 8" here for less than half the price I paid. Nonstick works great, wish it was a little bit deeper but hasn't really been a problem. I'd call these like a solid 4.5 stars given how well they work and the value.

Incredibly Nice Set of Pots and Pans
This set of 6 pots and pans with lids is very nice quality - exactly what I expected from Calphalon. First, the cookware is substantial and has very thick bottoms for even heating, and large metal handles for ease of hanging on to and sturdiness with flipping the items in the skillets. These handles are not going to unscrew themselves over time and require maintenance. They are riveted on very strongly to the sides of the pots and pans. The lids are all glass with metal handles and have steam holes on the deep sides of the lids in case you need to vent your pot. The sizes the pots come in are very convenient, though I did find the largest pot to be a bit on the short-walled side. But I can use it as a really big saucepan, and something else for bigger soups and batches of chili. The non-stick coating works like a dream and I had no problem frying up a block of tofu one day, or a sticky parmesan- coated pasta the next. The surface is slick and fries very nicely. The color of the set is a lovely green/grey that looks great in my kitchen and is scratch-proof (only time will tell there). There is only one drawback to this set of cookware, and that is hot very hot the handles get. You cannot touch them due to the conductivity of the high heat to the metal handles. There were 2 silicone trivets/pot holders included with the set and I'm guessing it's because Calphalon knows just how hot as blazes their handles get. I'm happy to use the potholders/handle holders because this set is above average in its performance. The instructions also recommend that the items be hand-washed, and I'm a bit worried about what will happen to the non-stick coating if I put them in the hot dishwasher, so I'll try to keep them out of there. But sometimes you just need to feel like a kitchen item is sanitized or you don't have the time or energy to hand wash. We'll see. Overall, this cookware set is really well put together, very sturdily built, and performs excellently on the stove and under the broiler. I'm very impressed!
Excellent set
We haven't purchased a new set of quality cookware for probably 20 years, other than practically disposable stick free frying pans from Homegoods. Decided to take a chance on these, and while only time will tell on how they hold up, we are so far very impressed. This set has a solid weight, distributing heat well from our propane stove top, and comes with a nice variety of size and lids (the pot lids have two vents in them), and we love the muted green color. So far everything I've thrown at it slides right out (swordfish, bacon, cheese burgers) so the ceramic coating is so far doing its job. The lack of PFAS materials is a HUGE bonus for us.If I was forced to pick a nit, it's that the handles get hotter than expected from similarly constructed sets. So treat them like you would cast iron cookware and have an oven mitt or pot handle cover handy.
