In love with this pan
This pan is super high quality. It is a true non stick pan! I have not had anything stick to it.Its not super heavy to carry or transfer, its oven safe, dishwasher safe, and the handle is made out of metal.The handle doesn't get hot when using the pan on the stove, even though it is metal.I truly love this pan and find myself using it daily for everything from eggs, to chicken in the afternoon.

Fabulous pan!
I continually buy mostly calphalon as the quality seems just superior. I love this finish. Eggs slide right out and its so easy to clean up. If I had any complaints is that the handle is a bit long and bulky in my cabinet but other than that, it is just great!!

Due to health concerns, I've recently started to steer away from Teflon coated pans. One thing that initially drew me towards this Calphalon pan is that it's made with a hard-anodized aluminum - so there are no concerns about toxicity. The size is perfect for any standard size burner, and after using it several times, I have found that it has solid heat distribution and cooks food evenly throughout. The handle doesn't get hot, though I've found that to be pretty common across fry pans these days (other than cast iron). I love the shape of the sides of the pan, which help to contain food and will make frying things like chicken cutlets easy and with less mess. And while the performance is great, I absolutely LOVE that it's dishwasher safe. As a busy mom, I'm a huge fan of timesavers like this. Overall, it's a great pan that's performed exceptionally well.

Excellent pan
This is a really good quality nonstick pan. It is very large, and the quality seems solid. Considering that it is aluminum, it's pretty heavy...that means it's thick. Good sign for this type of pan. I wouldn't actually put it in the dishwasher or anything. Forget the heat, the main issue with the dishwasher is that all kinds of metal objects are knocked around, which will certainly mar the finish; any finish.Anyway, it works well and it's a great size. The one thing that's odd about it to me is that the handle is extremely long. A little awkwardly long, actually. But it's comfortable and works. I recommend this pan, overall.

Another great Calphalon pan!
I’ve used Calphalon pans for years. With proper cleaning and care, they last for years. This nonstick pan is a perfect example. It’s well balanced, attractive, and cooks food beautifully at a variety of temperatures. I like this size because it’s perfect for cooking for two or three people (maybe four if you don’t have big appetites!).

Love this pan!! Although I read the description and I knew it was a 12inch pan, you just don't realize the actual size until you see it.I knew it was large so there was no surprise here but seeing it in person made me realize how many use I can get out of that pan. It's not to fry a couple of eggs or a small omelets. It's more of a pan you can stir fry (the pan is about 2.5 inches deep), make a paella, cook rice, cook pasta or even make a large frittata.It would have been nice if it came with a lid. Love the pan and it's a reliable brand so highly recommend

I've been using Calphalon for years and have their products in several styles. I was looking for a larger, non-stick frying pan. As with most Calphalon products, this is well constructed. The handle is secure with two, strong grommets. With regular use, the handle does not get hot. However, I have had it get hot if I have the pan poorly positioned on my burner or when using on high heat. The non-stick works as expected, and the pan easily washes up with gentle soap and water.My only criticism is that the pan itself seems to be rather light weight. I'm used to a heavier pan or at least one with a heavy bottom for even heating. This one comes across to me as cheap.
