Lovely jumbo fry pan! I fancy the secondary handle when transferring from the stove to table.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to clean. You can wipe it clean AND it is dishwasher safe. The ease of using this is great. It’s definitely a go to pan.This would make a excellent gift!

I love Caphalon pans, they are always made well and high-quality. This Jumbo fry pan is no exception. It is heavyweight and made very well. There is a QR code on the packaging which leads you to The Caphalon site which gives you full instructions about the product, what it’s made of, and care. It’s very thorough and makes care of your pan very easy! I have used this type of cookware for over 20 years and love how they conduct heat and cook food. I always make sure to not use any hard metal utensils on the pan when I cook. . This pan is excellent for no stick. The lid is heavyweight although it doesn’t have a rubber coating on the lid handle so you need to use something so your hand doesn’t touch it when it gets hot. Lid seals very nicely. Great Pan! Awesome value and great company.

I like that this skillet is oven safe to 450F since I finish steaks and what not in the oven. The handle is stainless steel. Previous skillet I ordered from another manufacturer was advertised as oven safe to 450 but when it arrived the instructions gave a much lower temperature – its handle was covered with a non-removable silicone (or some soft material) sleeve for insulation that couldn’t handle high oven temps. This Calphalon can handle the oven and its handle stays cool on the stovetop. I use an oven mitt when removing from oven.It’s nice and deep, my deepest skillet. Lid is clear and fits.The aluminum seems on the thin side to me based on looks and weight, but it distributed heat evenly enough.

This pan is amazing. I never thought I would say that about a pan. But it is so easy to clean I absolutely love it. I've also just so happen to love the color. I would highly recommend this over and over again to anyone! The large size is also great for sautéing items are making any large dishes as well.I hope I will get the opportunity to get more of this brand's cookware

I have no idea what the non stick material is made out of but I hope it’s safe. They should really state more info about this in the description. Also the lid is loose on the pan which makes no sense. And the lid is very heavy…maybe even the same weight as the oak. With all that said though the pan is still nice and it’s big.
Awesome Frying Pan
This is a really great frying pan in so many ways. It arrived with innovative packaging that protected the pan and the lid properly during transport. The pan itself truly is "jumbo" as described with a sloping side that makes stirring easy without quite being a wok. It heats evenly, isn't made of thin material and is easy to clean due to the non-stick coating. The lid is heavy duty, and the handle stays cool during cooking as well. Highly recommended!
