A WONDERFUL NONSTICK GRIDDLE WITH NUMEROUS POSSIBILITIES FOR USE - I LIKE THIS PAN!
This is a well designed and well crafted griddle with nice weight. The metal edges are all well polished, the bottom is smooth, and the handle fits my hand comfortably. It has a slightly raised lip around the edges of the pan. It measures 10 7/8" square without the handle, and it is 20" long including the handle. The handle is riveted on, and has a hole at the end for hanging. The website says it works with gas, electric and glass stove tops, and is oven safe to 500 degrees F. It had no unpleasant odor out of the box, nor did it have any odor when heating and using.In using it, the pan heated up quickly and evenly. I made pancakes at medium/high and they turned out perfect. It worked just as well with eggs. It is certainly nonstick, the food just slides off. I did not have any trouble getting a spatula under the food, but be aware that the nonstick feature of this pan makes the top of the griddle a little slippery. While using it on the stovetop, the handle remained cool enough to pick up and move the pan (you will need potholders when removing the pan from the oven). Washing up was a breeze. The product information states that this griddle is metal utensil safe, it is made without PFAS and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.I will be keeping this griddle in an easy to reach, convenient location in my kitchen. I can envision using it for grilled cheese, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, veggies, hamburgers, steaks, and because it is oven safe up to 500 degrees F, even pizza. It could become my all around, go to pan. Even though this pan is rather expensive, I think the features and quality justify the expense. I recommend it.Care Instructions: Wash before first use. Dishwasher safe, hand washing recommended. Metal utensil safe. 500F Max Oven heat. Use oven mitt when removing pans from oven.Thanks for reading :)

These Premier Ceramic Nonstick 8" and 10" Frying Pan Set from Calphalon® are great if you are trying to cut out or cut back on the amount of fat you use in your cooking. The food easily moves around the pan without sticking. Because they have a metal handle, they are oven safe to 500 degrees. I have used them to bake a frittata in the oven and to cook a stir fry on my gas stove. I am super happy with how these pans preformed with only spray oil for the frittata and no oil for the stir fry. Everything cooked evenly and released from the pan with no issues at all. I make this oven frittata fairly regularly and have tried it in all my oven safe pans. This pan outperformed all of my pans. I used the 10” pan and it served out of the pan with no sticking at all! Clean-up is a breeze since nothing sticks. Pans are well constructed and fairly heavy. I got the Mushroom Grey color and it is attractive. The 8” and 10” are great sizes and are the sizes I use most when using a frying pan. Sides are rather high for fry pans. My 8-egg asparagus, shallot & goat cheese frittata had plenty of room.I have had a number of ceramic pans over the years. I really, really like this set. I have found that ceramic pans (like all non-stick pans) become less effective at being nonstick over time and will need replacing at some point. They say these pans are dishwasher safe and metal utensils can be used. Out of habit, I wash by hand and use wood or silicone utensils – just to help prolong the life of my pans.

Quality I Expect, Passes The Magnet Test
I ordered this pot for the fact that it states that it will work on induction cook tops. Well, I can’t test that fact at the moment because we are remodeling, and our stove is in the living room, but I can say that it passes the magnet test. I placed the magnet on the bottom, and it held strongly so I have no real doubt that it will work. I have been using it on a glass cooktop in our other kitchen and I will say that it works beautifully. It has a smooth outer finish that will not scratch my glass top. Also, because of the smooth finish, it wipes clean easily. What I like the most, and the biggest reason that I ordered this dutch oven, is because of the ceramic coating. I haven’t had ceramic cookware and wanted to try it. I am not disappointed. Again, I’m not Truely able to put it to the test on my induction cooktop so I feel all of the issues I have are the electric cooktop and not the pan, as I have the same issues with my All-clad stainless cookware as well. Electric cooktops are just not as even and consistent as gas or induction. Anyway, nothing that I have cooked has even come close to sticking. In fact, most things come out just with the pressure of running water. It couldn’t be easier to clean. They do advise not putting in the dishwasher but that isn’t a problem for me because I never do that anyway, but I know for some that might be a deal breaker. This dutch oven is attractive and usable. The gray ceramic compliments the blue coloring and metal handles. It’s a nice size and has become one of my go-to cookware items.

The Calphalon name has been in the business for long enough that many people are already aware of the quality that they bring to the market - this pan is no different. The finish on it looks great and the feel and weight of it is amazing.I am a big fan of using metal utensils when cooking which this pan will allow. The heat disbursement of this pan is exactly what you would expect from a high quality pan - it makes cooking so much easier, especially because you don't have to deal with "hot spots."Considering the asking price for this pan and what you get for that - I would absolutely feel good about recommending this pan for purchase.My grading scale:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY!4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product.
