5 Star pans but..
The set is great. Beautiful, heavy duty, seems to cook all very well. I purchased for a 2nd property so braved a "used but acceptable" description.Mine came heavily scratched, small dents in lids , etc.. It's like a few fell out of their box and rattled around in the back of a metal shipping container for 3800 miles. The others were pristine. Certainly still serviceable but I didn't expect THAT much wear from otherwise new pans. Still works tho for the savings. Great pans and since they are for a second home.. No harm.

Calphalon set... Well worth the money
Best set I've ever owned.Heavy duty pots & pans. They heat up quickly, holdbheat very well and are easy to clean. Just follow manufacturer care instructions and buy some stainless cleaner (can buy on Amazon).Every kitchen needs good non-stick pans, cast iron pans along with quality stainless steel pots & pans.My only regret is that I waited so long to order these.Would make a great gift for any house warming, wedding or graduation etc...I'm now purchasing individual pieces of Calphalon.

I absolutely love this cookware! Have went through a bunch of T-Fal non stick as well as other non stick pans this is bar none the most incredible cookware I have ever used.Could not wait to give them a try the day I got it and I am so stoked! I cooked beans, sauteed with garlic, butter and olive oil... no sticking, was actually more slippery than non stick pans. Seared pork chops, no sticking, reduced a wine sauce, came out perfect, angel hair cooked just fine in the stockpot. The big test was clean up, everything cleaned up and they look good as new, no residues from the wine and tomato sauce.I am so overjoyed with my choice! My only regret was waiting so long to buy this cookware! Yes it is expensive but the value and quality make it a steal at $599! Follow the instructions on use and cleanup and you will love it too!***Edit: Fried eggs in it and no sticking. Crab cakes were perfect as well as shrimp and béarnaise sauce.Six months later and this cookware continues to deliver, the more complex the meal the more they deliver! I would not trade this cookware for anything! I admit to having a few issues early on but with practice and perseverance this remains the absolute best set I have ever used!
