As good as I could have hoped for
I have cooked only veggie burgers and crispy chick'n in orange sauce in this pan in the 5 weeks I've owned it. As an ethical vegetarian and an old guy, I mostly eat to live. However, I do appreciate quality and I love this pan. It looks serious and expensive (it is) and it has heft. After today's burger, instead of running water and dish detergent into it, I left it on the stove. When I was ready, I took half of a Bounty paper towel, wadded it, and ran a little water on it with no soap. The pan came clean quickly, with no effort. I did the cellulose sponge and soapy water routine only out of habit.

This is the "high quality" Calphalon pan with the three rivets on the handle instead of 2. Very solid, thick, heavy pan about like a "non-stick cast iron". Takes a bit of time to heat up, as one would expect with a thick pan. Cooks well, cleans easily I mostly use it to scramble eggs. Doesnt seem to scratch. If I need more pans, this is what I'll get. Bought some for my mom.

great heat distribution! and best non-stick I've had!! it is made from heavy duty heavy thick metal so the heat distribution is excellent. do not use metal utensils on it, even tho they say u can, because it can scratch. this is the best non stick surface i have ever had, i've used it dozens of times. it cleans like magic cuz nothing sticks to it. for comparison, i have purchased copper colored non stick, (which was nice but too thin and not as good nonstick as this) and even a 120 dollar swiss diamond dust impregnated pan and this one beats them all. the only draw backs are, no lid is included, and the shape is rather rounded on the bottom which can narrow the number of flat item u can cook at once, like grilled cheese or pancakes, but that is probably the purposeful intended shape for cooking certain other things. the handle is so heavy duty that my other pans are ashamed of themselves. lol this pan is so worth the money. and the shipping box was astoundingly huge and protective of it!!

Great nonstick, sturdy 10” fry pan without lid.
This is no light weight pan! Triple riveted handle, nice and slippery non stick surface, thick metal pan and easy to clean with a sponge & warm soapy water. Even heating. My 10” glass lid that fit the old Calphalon pan fits this new one perfectly. I use nylon tools so can’t comment on the claim on the box about metal utensils on the non stick surface being OK. #1 son will certainly provide a test! Also supposed to be dishwasher safe, but it’s large and takes up a lot of room and it’s easy enough to wash by hand, so I haven’t tested it in my dishwasher.

this pan is heavy and everything cooks great in this pan! Buy it!!
