Update 9/9/24These pans are worth every penny. We use them everyday and they still look brand new. They are a joy to cook with and clean up is a snap.Unparalleled nonstick cooking.. I can't recommend them enough!Bought this set after a different pan was ruined cooking eggs on medium high heat.I love the fact I can use metal utensils. Nothing sticks so far after a month of use. The lids are very sturdy. It was a little more money than I wanted to spend, but after a month of use, I would say they are definitely worth it.

Item not as advertised
I purchased this item last year and the “durable coating” is wearing off, I take care of my things so this is quite aggravating. Icing on the cake is that these guys aren’t even “authorized resellers” so Calphalon won’t honor their lifetime warranty to replace something not as described. I tried calling twice today and no dice, so hopefully I’ll get contacted after this. Recommend you buy it through Calphalon so you can collect on their warranty if something isn’t as described, instead doing what I’m doing.

Hands down, best cookware I've ever owned. They cook so evenly and nicely, clean up is sooo easy. While they say they are dishwasher safe, I have not put that to the test, lids yes, but pots and pans I hand wash, and it's so easy. I had a set from another company that was supposed to be dishwasher safe and it destroyed them, not willing to chance it with these. Would buy again. Just wish it came with a small size frying pan.

Sturdy and worth the money.
I did a lot of scrolling trying to find the best set that I hope would last some time. I decided on this set. When it arrived, there was a small dent on the rim of the lid on the larger pan. This, I didn't mind so much since I almost never use the lids when I cook. They are a bit on the heavy side, so if you have weak wrists, this probably would not the best for you. The long handles do stay cool, however, the shorter loop handles do get incredibly hot, you'd need oven mitts to handle them. The handles on the lids get quite hot as well. I've mostly gotten used to it but this is the most accurate description that I can think of. These are immensely easy to clean. I wash them with soap and water and wipe them down with a papertowl. They great.

Unlike other non-stick pots and pans which limit stove heat to medium-low, you can use the higher heat. They are solid and seem like normal pans, they retain heat very well, and they are truly non-stick. I often cook chicken or salmon without oil, and the clean up is very easy. No matter what I cook, the clean up is easy. I don't use the dishwasher. I use a sponge and soap and water for quick clean up. . . . However, I wouldn't pay the list price of $480. Wait for them to be on sale. You won't regret it. . . . Also, pots and pans are oven safe to 450⁰, as listed in description, and lids are safe to 400⁰, which is not listed in description.

These pans are......AMAZING!! The variety I got are all pots and pans I use frequently. Love having the glass lids so I can see my food inside without having to take the lid off. They do take a little longer to warm up and for the food to begin cooking, but this is because the material they're made of takes that heat and evenly distributes it throughout the pan and then retain steady temperature cooking your food just right. The non-stick surface is so nice to have and unlike any other "non-stick" coated pan I've ever used. I made homemade chili 2 days a go and then we had it for dinners 2 nights in a row. After dinner the first night I just waited for the chili to cool, put the lid on the pot and just put it on the top rack in the fridge so that it'd be quick to grab and throw right back on the stove to warm for dinner that following night. By the end of night 2, all the chili was gone but there was a pretty thick layer of food goop all along the inside of the pan. Imagine my surprise when all it took was hot water from the hand sprayer from the sink to remove every single little bit of that goop. I didn't even have to use soap! I was so shocked I grabbed the sponge and a squirt of soap and bubbled it all up anyway and gave it a little swish swash anyway. Why did I not buy these sooner?!?!
