Beautiful set
The cooking surface is stainless steel so no teflon and No aluminum in my food. This is as described, it arived as promised, apears to be well made, good value for the money i just wish they would put a packing slip in the package. And I personaly wish they would quit using shinny cardboard, first I already bought it so i dont need pretty pictures just very clear directions and second, I can not use it in the garden

Love this calphalon sets. I have old calphalon pot and I wanted to add more stainless steel and get change all my non stick pans to stainless steel. This is the perfect set, easy to clean and easy to use. I don’t understand why people put a bad review with this stainless steel pans. If you know how to use it and know how to clean it this the perfect pan and most healthy way of cooking. I’m not dealing with non-stick pans with dangerous non stick coating anymore. If you’re reading this and hesitant of buying this set, I’m telling you click the buy button and you will save a lot of money than dealing with other pots and pans and then thank me later.

Good quality, large handles
I bought, and returned, four other cookware sets before finding this set. Most other cookware has handles that are too small for a large man to comfortably hold. The handles on the Calphalon set, however, are the right size for my hands. Quality seems very good, they look nice, cook well, and are easy to clean.

Thought I ruined my pot
Wish I had the before photo. I was steaming sweet potatoes when we smelled burning. My brand new pot was ruined, or so we all thought. It was burned bad. REALLY BAD!!My husband found a method to clean the pot using lemons. Cut 3 or a lemons, check, we have a lemon tree, fill pot with water, check, we have water, and boil for five to 10 minutes. Didn't do a whole lot on its own, but the wooden spoon helped scrape some off. My husband used Bar Keepers Friend and after about 20 minutes with one if those sponges with a scrubbing side declared the interior clean. I finished scrubbing the bottom of the pot and the lid. Looks like new. Can't figure out why people can't clean these pots and pans. My previous pots and pans were 40+ year old Farberware that still looks great. Got a new induction stove and needed new cookware.I would not hesitate to recommend these as long as you will take care of them. Stainless is the best and this brand is great. I bought additional pieces. So happy.
A little disappointed
Overall the quality of this set seems pretty great. The heat distribution is great, the entire pan gets hot, versus my old non-stick pans that had hot and cold spots. As long as you follow the "rules" with stainless steel - heat the pan until hot, then add oil and coat the surface - nothing sticks and they clean up very easily. However, I am really disappointed that one of the lids in the set came with rust under the handle. For a more expensive set I would expect better quality, especially considering I've never had any rusting in my pans, even the cheapest sets. So I'm knocking a star off for that. They are also very heavy pans so that may be an issue for some, I find that it can be a struggle to hold the larger pans in one hand as I pour food out of it.
