Loved it but the scratches were disappointing!
First let me start by saying I love and have a large collection of Le Creuset. I wanted to give it a 5⭐️ review but I was pretty disappointed in the scratches that were on the lid’s surface upon delivery. Also because I received this on a prime day sale for around $239 I’m not able to return it and make an even exchange since the price has increased, I’d be stuck paying the difference. Using the le creuset cleaner helped a bit but the marks are still there. Overall it’s beautiful but because it is pricey & white I definitely wanted it free of marks or scratches fresh out the box🤍

Positively Perfect Pumpkin Cocotte by Le Creuset!
I have wanted this Le Creuset pumpkin cocotte since the first time I saw it. I know it is quite an investment, and to be honest, I was hesitant to spend so much on another Le Creuset piece. Also, after reading some unfavorable reviews here I almost cancelled mine. I am so glad that I didn’t ! It arrived today in perfect condition and looks even better than the photos. The white enamel along with golden “stem” is so lovely and the cocotte goes perfectly with my other pieces. I don’t know how a pumpkin can be so perfect and have an almost refined elegance but I think this actually does. It will make the most humble dish served in it seem special.

Completely thrashed
ordered us a couple days ago received it today opened it to the box being completely thrashed and also the actual Dutch oven having chips and scratches all over the outside and chips on the inside, which makes it completely unusable. Super disappointing. Obviously I immediately put in to return it as it's unusable.

I don’t cook much myself, but as the chief dishwasher in the house, I can vouch for how wonderful Le Creuset cleans up. That finish is amazing! It also looks like fall decor when waiting to be used, or as a serving dish. I advise against dropping it on your toe.

A stunner in Sea Salt
This is a bit of an indulgence for my new kitchen, but it's just gorgeous. This is my first Le Creuset piece in Sea Salt which I was hoping would suit my new kitchen. It's a gorgeous muted blue-green-gray shade. Sort of a grayed down aqua. Truly beautiful. And the shape of the piece with the silver-toned, stem-shaped handle makes it a really special accent piece. I couldn't be happier. Le Creuset is always an indulgence, but some of the pieces are so worth it. This one definitely is for me.

Yes, it's wickedly expensive. I thought about it long and hard as we don't have a deep wallet. But OMG, no regrets - it's gorgeous in sea salt! Arrived today, thankfully in perfect condition, so haven't cooked in it, but it's LC and I'm sure it will perform just as nicely as our larger Dutch ovens. Thanks to Amazon's payment plan over 12 months, no interest - we can handle it. You have to buy this if beauty of presentation on your table is a must. It will be an heirloom - just wish I had girls to hand it down to, but not giving up on my son to enjoy the art of fine cooking just yet!
