I disagree with some other reviews
First, I bought this item based on other reviews that tout the wonderful "flat bottom" - this certainly is not a flat bottom pan we received. Oil runs and pools at the edges. Second, the helper handle gets hot as blazes unlike the main handle which makes it worthless. Finally, since it seems to be a genuine Le Creuset product I'll probably keep it as it functions despite the fact I did not get what I anticipated. I certainly don't trust the A-Z exchange policy's ability to correct it. I don't want to get stuck paying for two pans that aren't flat.

Worth the investment.
This is my go-to pan that fits everything in one pan. Foods will not stick if you use right temperature (I use medium heat from induction). The only down side is that it is too heavy to lift with one hand. I guess that is why there is handle on the other side. I feel that I will enjoy using this product to cook for at least next few years to come with good care.

This pan is perfection. Love the ergonomic handle and the helper handle so pan is easy to maneuver and lift. The 12.5 inch pan does have a helper handle even though the picture does not show this. Also, the handle is just the right length so this pan fits into the bottom of my sink for easier clean up. Requires less space for storage too. The other pans I have, All Clad and Viking, have such long handles that this is a problem. Heats evenly so food does not burn on the bottom. Conducts heat so well that you only need low to medium heat when cooking. It is a gorgeous pan and I am soooo happy I purchased it. Highly recommend.

Terrible considering the price point
The non-stick version of this pan is not great. The pan does not warm up evenly and food sticks very easily. I much prefer my Caphalon pans.
