This pot is HUGE! If you're not wanting something too heavy then maybe look for something else. That being said, I love this pot sooo much. I've stewed, roasted and baked with it and its wonderful every time. It cleans so well too which is greatly appreciated when making elaborate dishes, you want easy clean up. It's pricey but worth every penny.

Well made, well designed pot. I really appreciate the quality and attention to detail. This is not a cheap Chinese pot. I'm so glad this company has maintained its commitment to quality. The sloping sides make this a very versatile pot. It can be used to roast, stew, braise and even stir fry like a wok. The large size is a bonus because it allows it to be used for almost any size recipe. Smaller meals can be cooked in a large pot; but large meals can't be made in a small one. This has become my favorite, go-to, enameled pot. I highly recommend it.

First time with a Le Creuset product. It is beautiful and functions better than my cheap Dutch oven which gave up the ghost. I use it to make artisan bread, soups, stews, and roasts. I am of the mindset now that it is better to buy a quality item once vs cheap multiple times. It is lighter than I was expecting and heats up evenly.
