I replaced my plastic black Le Creuset knob (because of the low temperature limit) and I replaced it with the metal one. I like that the metal can withstand high temperature. I replaced it very easily and it fits well.

Different golds for large and medium sizes
I was pleased with the gold of the large knob so decided to order a medium. However the medium gold is darker. Both are pretty, but I would have liked them to be the same color. The Le Creuset website has a “gold” and “dark gold” knobs. That should be stated here if you have both colors instead of just “gold”.
Bought this to replace an old broken one.
It's not exactly the same as the original, but it works great and looks good.
