Amazing Product
This sparkling wine opener is amazing. I had read reviews and decided to give it a try since I have problems with my wrist. Some time ago I had purchased through Amazon an electric wine bottle opener that works very well. I find opening wine bottles difficult and most champagne bottles almost impossible or at the very least painful. This opener exceeded my expectations. Even easier to use than the electric wine bottle opener - the cork is out of the champagne bottle in an instant. Truly an amazing product.

So Much Better Than Losing Control
The Champagne Star not only looks cool, it works wonderfully well. It fits in the grooves left with you take the muzzle off a bottle of champagne prior to extracting the cork, and it allows you to control the opening, whether the result desired is a loud pop or a discreet whoosh that doesn't risk foam going down the sides. It's handsome and discrete in satin black -- with a small drawback that it's so discreet in black that it can get lost in a drawer. We've given them away as presents (great wedding gift!) and use one ourselves. It won't wear out or break, so once you have one, you're fixed for life -- and a good life it is opening champagne.
Open bottles like a pro!
It is amazing how easy it is to open prosecco with this tool. I had always struggled to get the cork out and now it is no longer a problem!
