Gorgeous color and a necessary kitchen tool
This is my second crock. The first was a gift and I never knew how much I needed it in my life and it quickly became the most used tool in my kitchen. That being said, the replacement I purchased is so gorgeous. The color is listed as grey but it is a soft grey blue which I am thrilled by. I couldn't be happier with this crock

Colorful salt crock - great look and function
We purchased the blue salt Rock and really like the color. I prefer this kind of salt crock over a salt pig, and it's working really well for us, with the addition of a small wooden spoon. It holds more than enough salt to avoid having to refill frequently. It's good value for the money.

Great for salt
This is a great little salt crock. Perfect by the stove so you can sprinkle while you're cooking. It is too large for a petite ledge or windowsill, but if you have counter space it's a great option! The color is a little more white than cream, but still has a warm tint.

Perfect except the price
First, I’ll get the cons out of the way. Le Creuset for being made in a China is really over-priced. But I already have some white porcelain pieces so I guess I was adding to my collection with this. I switched from regular table salt to sea salt and wanted a salt crock for it. So now for the pros. It’s is WAY bigger than I though it would be. Some of the reviews stated the buyers had a hard time fitting their fingers in it to pinch salt, that is not my experience. The opening and really the entire thing is a good size. Mine salt crock came packaged really well and safe which was another complaint by buyers that theirs were shattered or not supported. I would recommend this for someone who likes to cook and have always and quick access to salt in the kitchen.

Great salt cellar.
We love to cook and a big part of that is proper seasoning. Having easy access to salt that you can grab by hand is, well, handy.Over the years we’ve tried several salt cellars and this is the one that’s stayed. The cellar itself is sturdy, having survived more than a couple moves. The design is simple yet attractive. The opening is big enough to get a sizable pinch of salt in one go. There’s not much more you need in a salt cellar.Note that it is open and there’s no way to close it. In humid places, like where we live, the salt can get somewhat clumpy, but it’s never caused an issue.We like ours so much we bought one for a friend.

Very pretty, but it’s just OK.
So, I really love how cute this looks on my counter with the rest of my Le Creuset stuff, but it’s not quite as easy for me to get a pinch of salt from as, say, a small bowl. It’s probably just my technique, but this item requires me to use the tips of my forefinger and thumb to get salt, but I prefer to pinch more from the first crease of my knuckle on each of those digits so I don’t get salt stuck under my fingernail. However, this design doesn’t leaning enough room for me to have my fingers sideways enough to do this. There’s probably some benefit to having vertical coverage of the salt, but I never had a problem with my old pinch bowl I used for salt before I got this. I still use this item all the time, and I guess I’m just in a “form over function” situation now, lol. It’s not unusable, but I do find salt under my nails annoying. Oh well!
