I'm a frugal person and very selective about what I spend my money on. $60 (I got it on sale) for a butter dish would have been laughable to me a year ago, but this little guy is so cute and the color is so pretty, the joy it brings me is worth every penny.

Wrong color
Butter dish is very cute, thus I rated it 5 stars. But I ordered the white one, received sea salt color. The problem is I cannot return the item, as it’s in Uzbekistan now. I order items to my US adress, and logistics company ships my orders to Uzbekistan. So, I don’t know what to do in this case🤷🏻♀️

Wrong color sent twice!
Ordered Sea Salt, got the Persimmon. Did a return and reordered. Was sent another persimmon again! Not going to try a third time. Too much hassle. Gave it 2 stars because it’s cute, but that’s it.

Love this piece - it is on the large side for butter but fits an Irish butter perfectly. Looks absolutely amazing on the counter. For some reason it makes me really happy to use it, something about the lid :)I too ordered white and got sent sea salt (light blue-grey). Must be some kind of glitch at Amazon since I am not the first person to mention this. Color on Le Creuset box marked accurately. Decided to keep it; needed for an event and it is absolutely gorgeous.

This is a beautiful dish but it is big for a butter dish. I leave my butter on the counter so I think it will work. I did receive the wrong color. I ordered white but got the sea salt which is beautiful. I decided to keep it and maybe order the white in the future. I kept the sea salt and ordered another one in white. Guess what! I got another sea salt. I don't thing I'll try again. It is a beautiful color.

Really cute, but large butter dish
I ordered this twice from Amazon. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong color (twice). I’m very happy with the one that I did get in white. It’s really cute and goes very well with other pumpkin shaped items that I have from Le Creuset and Staub. The bottom part would make a nice small tray for cranberry sauce.
Multipurpose
I’ve found a recipe on Le Creuset website, designed for this particular dish. It is a baked Camembert with pomegranate. The pictures were too appealing to resist, so I got not only ingredients but the pumpkin dish itself. It is perfectly made, easy to use and clean. Can be used to store small portions of food, butter or cheese, though my primarily use was for baking
