We LOVE LOVE LOVE Le Creuset products. We use their pots and pans, their bakeware, bowls and utensils. Their products are well made. This purchase is the second batter bowl we are adding to our collection. We store pancake batter, etc, in the fridge sometimes directly in the bowl, covered with plastic wrap and have had a number of occasions where it would have been handy to have more than one bowl. This 2 Qt bow is perfect for storing ice cream batter in the refrigerator so it can be easily added to your ice cream maker. It is heavy ceramic that has a nice thick glaze on it. A must have for every home cook.

Purchased this last year for Christmas for my daughter along with a flat oval casserole dish. It is so much cuter than the picture. It's a great mixing bowl & pouring is easy. It's not chipping with hard usage. Love the caribbean blue color. Actually a lot of the Le Creuset cookwear match even in different colors.

I have a full set of LeCreuset cast iron cookware, stoneware bakeware, mixing bowels etc. My crazy cat knocked this bowl off the countertop. It smashed! Instead of getting sad or upset, I immediately ordered a replacement. Love all this companies wares. This bowl in particular is beautiful and oh so versatile.
