A Very decent Stock/Pasta Pot!

I received the All-Clad HA1 Hard Anodized Nonstick Stockpot, Multi-Pot with Strainer 6 Quart Oven Broiler Safe 500F Strainer, Pasta Strainer with Handle, Pots and Pans Black (Black, 6 quart.I needed a new Stockpot, so when I saw this All-Clad 6 qt. Pot, I quickly ordered it.I've never had an All-Clad product before, but I was under the impression that All-Clad was USA Made. After receiving the Pot, I see this is not made in the USA, but Made in China. Bummer. My Likes and Dislikes: - The Pot is nicely made, but it also seems a bit thin-walled for the price. - I do love the lid-strainer!- I use this pot for boiling pasta, egg noodles, potatoes, and veggies. - I have also used this pot to make beans and lentils and soups. - I actually prefer to make my beans and soups in my Dutch-Oven though. - I'm pretty much dedicating this pot for just boiling the pastas and larger items. - This is a pretty nice Pot, just not the quality I had been expecting for an all-Clad product.I'm pretty happy anyway to have a Pasta Pot with a lid-drainer!

Quality

This is a first rate pot. The non stick interior makes clean up a breeze. I always cook on medium heat, and add a little butter prior to cooking. The best part of it is the built in strainer. It’s easy to drain off water on pasta, potatoes, etc. (goodbye clumsy colander). All the hardware on the pot is heavy duty. This pot is worth every penny.

Great pot

I love having the strainer built into the lid. So convenient and less items to clean. The quality of the pot itself is great so far.

Lid is the best!

This large pot has proven so handy in the months that we’ve used it! I have a large family and the strainer lid is a life-saver. I have to admit that I’ve owned heavier duty pots this large before, but none with the strainer lid.So far this thing is holding up quite well. Keep in mind that this is nonstick still, so don’t use anything harsh on it. If you could use a solid nonstick pot with an included strainer, look no further!Otherwise, I’d you’re looking for an incredibly high quality and solid pot (and don’t care so much about the lid), I do feel there are better options out there for the same value.

Great Pot

Has a classy, elegant look to it, right up there with my more expensive cookware. And it's super convenient, just to be able to drain the water without transferring to a strainer, or losing bits of pasta/food, trying to drain it from the pot via holding everything back with a spoon. Or, cracking a lid open to pour it in the sink. Also has measurement markings, which makes things easier, if you're trying to boil a specific amount of water, etc. I Dig It. One itty-bitty concern I have, and too minor to deduct a star, is that the lip that locks it onto the pot is a little on the thin side, in my opinion. I could see that maybe getting bent up a little, over time. Though it probably wouldn't be too hard to bend back into place. As long as you're not slamming it around or trying to force it on or off when it's not lined up properly, it should be okay. I wouldn't mind seeing that lip made a little thicker in an improved version someday. Other than that, it's a great pot. 👍
